‘Tis the eve of my birthday; I begin to reflect –
How God has never forgotten or failed me yet.
Some things I have prayed for I have yet to see;
But that’s ok, I know he has not forgotten me.
I’ve rejoiced with others he has blessed mightily
Sometimes reminding Him to not forget about me.
He has no perspective of person – I found that to be true;
But learning to be patient is the hardest thing to do.
There is a time and season for prayers to be fulfilled
I know that He can and He surely will.
Tomorrow I will turn seventy-five!
Happy to know that for ¾ of a century He has kept me alive!
