DESTINED FOR GREATNESS

I was destined for greatness before I was born;

When I found out about it, I began to praise the Lord!

My dreams and visions, I began to share;

But no one was interested – no one seemed to care.

As I allowed opinions of others to dim my sight

My hidden potential never came to light.

I saw dreams buried deep within my heart.

I saw them come; I saw them depart.

Suddenly, I heard a voice say to me:

“You are called to greatness – I’m setting you free.”

“See the artist longing to express creativity;

See the writer with a story to tell about you and me.

Step boldly into the calling I have placed in your life;

Embrace the unique gifts and talents I have placed in you.”

I now see the potential for greatness as never before –

The artist, the writer, the leader, the teacher, and more.

I am empowered by God to rise above every limitation;

After all, I’m destined for greatness!
