DIVINE JOURNEY

We are on a divine journey – only God knows our fate.

We must learn to know and love Him before it’s too late.

We learned to speak words when we were very young.

Never realizing the key to life and death is in the power of the tongue;

We were taught to be careful of the words we say;

For the same words we use might return the hurt one day.

We never fully understand the power of our words;

We know what was said, but not what others heard.

As we continue on our divine journey destined by fate,

Let us practice words of love, not filled with envy or hate.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it

and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words”.

(Proverbs 18:21)
