There are times when it feels like your heart has been stomped on, broken, betrayed, injured, battered, and bruised. In those moments, it can be so hard to feel or see God. Have you ever been there? Where you’ve prayed and cried, and the only thing keeping you from losing your mind is the deep-seated faith that God’s Word is true? He hasn’t left you. He sees you. His hand is on the very situation that feels like it’s crushing you.
Even through the hurt and pain, He has not forsaken you. There is always growth and maturity in the crushing. Faith is tested before the testimony. The breaking that feels like it’s breaking you comes before the breakthrough.
This is your reminder: God is not done with you. For some of us, He is just getting started. Hold on to His unchanging hand. Whatever you are going through, He has it—most of all, He has you.
If you are in a season of brokenness, know that God is not just watching from a distance—He is with you in it. He is shaping, refining, and strengthening you. Your pain is not wasted, and your story is not over. Keep trusting, keep believing, and hold on. Your breakthrough is coming.
“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
