The War Within: Finding Peace Beyond the Noise
By Tarsha R. Gunn

There’s a battle many of us fight that no one sees, the war within. It’s the tension between faith and fear, surrender and control, peace and pressure. Sometimes it’s not the chaos around us but the noise inside that steals our calm.
We often look for peace in people, places, or productivity, but real peace isn’t the absence of problems; it’s the presence of God. When life feels overwhelming and everything demands your attention, remember that peace doesn’t always come in the storm’s stillness; it comes when you trust the One who can speak to the storm.
This inner war can make you feel torn between who you used to be and who God is calling you to become. But growth often happens in the tension. It’s in the breaking that strength is built, and in the stillness that we hear His whisper again.
Peace isn’t something we chase; it’s something we choose. It begins when we lay down our need to control and allow God to guide our steps. Even when life feels like a battlefield, peace is possible when our hearts are anchored in Him.
Philippians 4:6-7  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
