- Denecia Ann Getaw — 36.7%

City Council District 5
- Linda Riggins Aaron — 56.12%
- Jason Wilson (incumbent) — 43.88%

City Council District 6
- Renay Stokes Reeves — 60.44%
- Dixie Minatra (incumbent) — 39.56%

The Gadsden City Council will certify the results Sept. 1. A runoff election for District 1 will take place Sept. 22. The new administration will take effect Nov. 2.
