Polluted Alabama Congregations
Church is not a place. It’s a body–a family with blood ties through Christ and His Gospel. How can a congregation that supports Trump be blood-tied to Christ? The answer is they can’t because they’re polluted. The blood ties of the church are polluted from the pulpit, pews, and choir but the Blood of Christ was shed for all and not the few. The second great commandment is found in Matthew 22:37-39 and when a congregation has been polluted you will have members with racism in their hearts but singing like heavenly hosts as if God doesn’t know their heart. How can churchgoers keep singing to the Lord knowing that God knows their hatred towards other human beings? If we’re all sons & daughters of God then how could someone have supremacist views? Racism/White Supremacy doesn’t fit with the Gospel so we have to admit that church congregations are polluted with thoughts God Himself would disapprove of all day long. These monsters know exactly what they’re doing standing behind the pulpit.
1 Samuel 16:7 is breaking news for these polluted congregations that God doesn’t see your outward appearances while you are up there in the pulpit, singing in the choir or shouting Amen from the pews He sees your heart. In 1 Samuel 16:7, it says “The Lord sees not as a man sees but the Lord looks on the heart. Alabama churches are like most churches in the U.S. in that they haven’t stayed true to God’s message and now have become polluted with Trumpism & white Christian nationalism. These places of worship should proclaim the teachings of the Gospel whether it’s convenient or not and whether or not their congregation sees Trump as some savior-type figure to save them from their greatest fear, the other human being. Each Sunday pulpits and pews are stood at, grasped and pounded, and cried on by people who actually believe they’re living a Christian life and standing up for Christianity by having a heart of hateful, racist misguided Trump views. In actuality, the whole church is polluted from top to bottom from the coward in the pulpit, choir even to the people in the pews.
The polluted congregation can actually pray to get themselves out of this pollution situation and here’s the perfect prayer for a polluted congregation: Lord Jesus, compel us as a church to proclaim Your truth and preach Your message. It will always be easy, and it may not be convenient. But Jesus, Your words are life to us. Use Your Word to rebuke us, correct us, and encourage us-and let us follow you as we hold each other accountable. Only You can give us great patience and the words to teach. We fully depend on You! Amen. Alabama Evangelicals are failing miserably simply because they haven’t brought the true meaning of the birth, life, and resurrection of Christ but instead have polluted their congregation with the false savior image they’ve placed upon Trump. When a church congregation is polluted it will have a cowardly preacher and members who actually think that this is the guy God would send as a closer for Jesus Christ as if the Son of God was opening up for Trump. The Bible never spoke of someone coming along after Jesus to be some Savior of Christians but the bible did mention a deceiver/anti-Christ figure coming and foolish Christians following after the beast.
Alabama Evangelicals have long ago abandoned their first love which was Jesus Christ and replaced it with a white supremacist nationalist version of the Gospel that has absolutely nothing of God but plenty to do with racist men/clergy. Just look how far the church has fallen from being a vanguard of the Gospel to a cover and weapon of a supremacist Christian nationalism. The Alabama church has taken Jesus and the Gospel for granted, profit, and white supremacist indoctrination so Revelation 2:4-5 is sure to fall on them and they deserve it because God’s Word is true against all evil intentions. Racism is stronger than the Gospel when a coward occupies the pulpit and pollutes the congregation with views that are totally against the teaching of Christ. A church becomes polluted when its leaders are more entrenched in white supremacist Christian nationalism ideology than the life examples of Jesus. Pollution has overtaken the Alabama so-called Christian community especially political and religious leaders. These “fakers” have no respect for Ephesians 4:2-3 when it said: Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. A polluted congregation will not keep the unity of peace but follow after Trump and his promised retribution and revenge. Didn’t God say in Deuteronomy 32:3 that vengeance is His?
Right-wing Alabama Christian preachers have divided the body of Christ in favor of a Trump-like Christian nationalism that has poisoned the church beyond repair and it’s no wonder church attendance is down. Just like the Republican party is run by Christian nationalist extremists so is Alabama’s evangelical community. They don’t care about the individual in the body of Christ all they care about is raw power for a closed-minded view of the world they themselves were infected with. Alabama Christians act like the first ones who stepped off the boat preaching heaven was for whites only. Alabama politicians on the Christian right who are no better than the Mullahs in Iran are the same ones behind legislation to control people’s lives because of some twisted radical religious view so they constantly sow division. That’s the way it is with the Church, too. It’s ok to not be close to everyone. But it’s not ok to not care about everyone and be willing to do what you can to encourage them, ease their pain, be glad for them, or help them in their time of need in whatever way you can. How is Christian support for Trump living up to
1 Corinthians 12:25:27? It’s not and people claiming to be of the Body of Christ are nothing but imposters and lairs to the Gospel. The Alabama Christian Right is becoming a total contradiction to the Gospel of Christ. These weak-knee preachers think they’re doing something for God but leading he church to follow Trump but they’re only condemning the congregation to white supremacist pollution.
