How happy we are to celebrate Easter
Knowing that it is not about eggs, or a rabbit called Peter.
It is a day to remember Jesus who died on the cross.
He arose from the dead – redeeming the lost.
His blood gave us pardon of all our sin;
With an everlasting covenant sealed within.
He suffered much to set us free;
Desiring that we have life more abundantly.
The penalty for our sin was paid with His blood;
And nowhere can you find a greater love.
Now, isn’t it wonderful to know –
That it is Jesus, not a rabbit, that loves us so?
