“Get to know me in the quiet,” is what I heard the LORD say.
How could I do that with such a hectic day?
So many things were scheduled to fill my busy day;
All my time was depleted – there was no way.
He said, “Take the time to get to know me face to face.”
How could I do that traveling all over the place?
Then, I remembered someone saying: “God makes a way out of no way.”
How could I ask Him? What will He say?
Sitting down with pen in hand, I began to jot,
‘LORD, help me through my busy schedule to give you a spot.
In my busyness I failed to factor in
all the time you spent with me forgiving all my sins;
You are giving me time to run this Christian race;
How could I not spend time to know you face to face?’
