Can you believe 2024 is over and what year it has been especially for Imani Jones, NBC4’s 2024 Remarkable Woman?

In April, Jones joined over 100 other nominees from across the country in Los Angeles, California for Nexstar’s National Remarkable Woman gathering.

They reveled in each other’s excellence, toured Hollywood, watched a taping of the Jennifer Hudson show, and much more during the 3-day trip.

“It was amazing just being around so many inspiring women with stories of inspiring work that they do in their communities. It was just a phenomenal time,” she said. “All of us felt like stars.”

Imani Jones is the director of the Department of Chaplaincy at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center.

Imani is the daughter of Gadsden native Iman Majid, who was a 1968 graduate of the Historic Carver High School, where he was known as Paul Freeman.
