Meet Renay Stokes-Reeves

My name is Renay Stokes-Reeves, and I am proud to be a lifelong resident of Gadsden, Alabama. This city has been my home, the place where I was raised, built my career, and raised my daughter, Seneka, as a single mother. It is also where I married the love of my life, Bobby Reeves, twelve years ago. Gadsden is more than where I live. It is the community I love and am committed to serving.

I am a graduate of Emma Sansom High School, Class of 1980, and throughout my working career, I proudly served our community before retiring from Honda Manufacturing. Those experiences taught me the value of hard work, dedication, and standing up for the people around me.

Today, I am seeking the opportunity to serve the residents of District 6 on the Gadsden City Council. I believe every resident deserves a representative who listens, responds, and works tirelessly to address the concerns that matter most to our neighborhoods.

As your City Council representative, I will be a strong advocate for:

• Improving local infrastructure and street maintenance
• Supporting neighborhood and community revitalization efforts
• Enhancing public safety for our families and seniors
• Promoting responsible growth and economic opportunities
• Ensuring that every voice in District 6 is heard and respected

I am committed to serving with integrity, transparency, and an open door for every resident. Together, we can continue building a stronger, safer, and more vibrant District 6 for future generations.
