I woke up this morning as I always do;
giving praise to God – asking Him to see me through.
He assured me that He was with me – and always will be
removing obstacles out of my way to forever set me free.
Given His assurance, my heart was filled with joy;
the tasks planned for today, I began to deploy.
I thanked Him for waking me and watching over me while I sleep.
I thanked Him for His faithful love that is strong and very deep.
I gave thanks to the LORD for hearing my daily prayer;
I was readily blessed with the assurance that He was waiting there.
As I pondered my troubles, both large and small;
I began to thank God for His deliverance from them all.
No matter how busy my day seems to be going –
I am thankful that He is always there – all-seeing – all-knowing.
