I inspired my word and so it was written
to encourage your heart and keep you from quitting.
I know that once you put your foot to the gospel plow
Satan will likely come to temp you somehow.
My word is your stronghold and your anchor too;
Everything I promised – that will I do.
Do not be afraid – whatever the plight;
I will be there with you both day and night.
Stay armed with my word – a sure flaming fire;
Opening doors no man can shut to give your heart’s desire.
