Victory and honor come through God alone;
So why are you trying to make it on your own?
God establishes us just as he pleases.
He never taunts; He never teases.
We have truly turned
from His godly way;
Yet, He beckons our return every single day.
The gentle breeze that kisses the face
is filled with His tender mercy and amazing grace.
The clouds that vastly array the sky
serve as a reminder that He is nigh.
So, why are you trying to make it on your own;
when God is as near as you are to your phone?
