I live from payday to payday – what the heck?
All my bills are paid; all my needs are met!
What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul chasing after money, silver, or even gold?
The Word of God has more wealth and is more rewarding to me
than precious diamonds, pearls, or rubies could ever be.
Yes, I live from payday to payday – what the heck?
My final pay will be in Heaven – an everlasting God-given check!
Philippians 4:19 reminds me: “But God shall supply all my need
according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
