We have heard the story of the prodigal son
How he went out, squandered his money, and returned home.
But what about the prodigal daughter? What is her story?
Can you imagine her toiling to give God the glory?
Striving diligently to make ends meet while out on her own,
She does her best to make her house a home.
Pressing on through all adversities
She stays determined to be a role model for her sisters to see.
She uses her faith as the power to face all fears;
Rejoicing in knowing God will provide for her all of her years.
The name ‘Prodigal daughter,’ she wears with pride –
Knowing she can make it with God by her side.
