Hello fellow veterans,
If you read your Bible at all you would be familiar with the book of Job in the Old Testament. To make a long story very short; I’ll tell you what happened. In the land of Uz, there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil. He had seven sons land three daughters. He owned lots of livestock and servants. the Bible said he was the greatest man among all the people of the East.( Job1:1–3)
One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them. How in the world did he get in?
The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?’
Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”
Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? (Lord why do you want to go and do that) There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”
“Does Job fear God for nothing?’ Satan replied. You got a hedge around him and his household and everything he has. You have blessed the work of his hands. Do this, stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.
“Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger. I give you permission Satan but you can’t warn him or brag about what you can do.
Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
So what does this have to do with you and me?
When God gives Satan permission to come into your life; he doesn’t give him permission to warn you or brag about it.
He, Satan has permission to do it…bring all kinds of calamity, heartache, regrets…
Satan has God’s permission to do it… Do you mean God gives the devil permission to make my life miserable?
WAIT, let me finish…Yep, that’s what he does. When God gives Satan permission to come into my life; He doesn’t give him permission to “warn me beforehand or brag about what he’s going to do.”
So whatever it is he’s telling me or you he’s going to do; he does not have permission to do it. Why?
Because he can’t help but talk smack…warning me about what he’s going to do to me and my family and bragging about how it’s going to make me feel.
Get this now! If he, Satan had permission to do it; he wouldn’t be telling me about it; he would be doing it!
So whatever he’s telling you he’s going to do, in your imagination, too, he does not have God’s permission! Get it? Satan, you’re illegal! You can’t do this to me! In the name of Jesus.

Remember Job only suffered 9 months…and all the suffering stopped when he prayed for his friends.
Get right with God people, His son, Jesus is coming back real soon.
