What States Need The Most Help?

In looking at all of the states, I see many of them with Republicans in control that seem to think what they believe is more important than what the people want or need.

Why is it Kentucky has had Mitch McConnell in that state for about 35 years, and overall of those years, he has managed to gain more wealth as the people in the state are still without good jobs and better lives?

As his state fails, he seems to be gaining millions of dollars every year and has done that over the past ten years.

Kentucky is now rated at being 44th in healthcare, 38th in education, 43rd in higher education, 39th in economy, 44th in employment, 44th in economic opportunity, 45th in fiscal stability. Kentucky is rated over all at 40th out of 50.

An annual list of the Best States ranked Louisiana dead last for the third year in a row. The facts leading up to this were based on its health care, education, infrastructure, crime, and other quality-of-life measures.

It seems most of those who do get elected want to be career politicians. One thing we don’t need in America today. They get into office and will not vote on legislation that will help the people because they feel people who are stuck in the past will get pissed off at them and re-election may not happen.

In Florida, they have a Republican-controlled Legislature that has continued expanding school choice. This includes a new voucher program, they call the Family Empowerment Scholarship Program. This program will use tax dollars that should be for public education to send as many as 18,000 students to private schools next year.

EXCUSE ME…18,000 students for private schools and taxpayers are footing the bill?

Private schools have been set up by corporations, who have stockholders, board members, and CEO. Keep in mind Public Education takes care of all students, and the students come first. That is if you have a state that understands that.
Corporate run schools have failed in many states over the years, and we have found that when they start to fail, it’s not the children who come first as it’s the stockholders, board members, and CEO.

So often, Republicans promote corporate schools because they can teach religion in those schools as well as pinpoint which students they will allow.

I have never understood why any state will allow Republicans to stop funding for health care. When they do, we have found Republican governors or those Republican legislatures are using the money for other projects.

The idea of having people in office is to have them there to work for better lives of all in those states.

Look at Alabama over the years. They had governors that took money from the BP Cleanup and used it for rebuilding the governor’s mansion. Another one took money from the federal government that was supposed to help the citizens with healthcare and put that money in block grants.

Sheriffs in the state were getting a certain amount of money for feeding prisoners. They would use some of that money and the rest was pocketed and one paid for a new house with his stolen money.

There is more corruption in that state than in most of the other Republican-controlled states.

Alabama right now has a woman in the office that seems to be one hell of a racist, Republican, bitch. PLEASE EXCUSE MY FRENCH.

We just watched as a black man was executed, and they said they had another person who committed the crime, but she would not stop the man’s death.

I guess the question is, “Why is it we still have so much racism in so many of the States run by Republicans?”

If those who control the people don’t stand up for, “ALL,” people that becomes a larger problem.

I have watched over the years as this state has not changed it’s rating in the areas of health care, climate change, economy, race relations, and many other social issues.

Ranking of states shows all of the citizens of those states how they are being taken care of when it comes to healthcare, education, the state’s economy, roads, bridges, infrastructure, public safety, the fiscal stability of state government, and opportunity are factors in determining which state is the ‘best.

Alabama ranked 49th, beating Louisiana.

The 10 worst states starting with number 42 Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Alaska, Arkansas, New Mexico, West Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama & Louisiana comes in 50th.

The 10 ‘BEST’ states were Washington State, New Hampshire, Minnesota, Utah, Vermont, Maryland, Virginia, Massachusetts, Nebraska, and Colorado.

Alabama’s education rating is so bad I can only imagine Republicans feel if they don’t educate people, they won’t really know who they are voting for and what they stand for.

Alabama comes in 50th in education. THAT MEANS LAST.

IT’S BEEN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WHO HAVE STOPPED THE PROGRESS OF ALABAMA

People in every state need to pay attention to the ones they put in office. Get information on those running for office and understand what they really stand for and who they are.

Find out if they want to put religious views first before what you believe and before the laws of our nation.

This is the season for voting and every person should be out there voting and making sure your voting booths stay open until the last person votes.

I prefer paper ballots or mail-in ballots but pay attention and make sure if you are using voting machines to watch for problems and speak out if there are.

REMEMBER DEMOCRATS WORK FOR THE PEOPLE AND THIS NATION RIGHT NOW NEEDS EVERY DEMOCRAT IN OFFICE WE CAN GET.
GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF THE HOUSE AND VOTE.
