“7 INSPIRATIONAL PROVERBS TO MOTIVATE STUDENTS TO EMBRACE EDUCATION”

By Kenneth Sullivan
(All Scriptures in this article are quoted from the New King James Version of the Holy Bible)
Another school year has begun, and students across the community have returned to the classroom. While learning new concepts can feel challenging, the Scriptures in Proverbs offer timeless wisdom on the value of dedication and continuous growth in education. Here are seven inspirational Proverbs to encourage students to stay motivated in their studies this year:
- A wise man will hear and increase learning—Proverbs 1:5.
- Take firm hold of instruction; do not let her go; keep her, for she is your life—Proverbs 4:13.
- Wise people store up knowledge—Proverbs 10:14.
- He who disdains instruction despises his own soul—Proverbs 15:32.
- Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers—Proverbs 16:20.
- The heart of the prudent acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge—Proverbs 18:15.
- Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge—Proverbs 23:12.
I pray that these scriptures will inspire all students to continue learning as much as they can, opening doors of opportunity for their future success. May these verses also encourage high schoolers who plan to drop out to continue their education.
