Love won’t keep you together! Most of y’all already know this, but you haven’t gone on to discover what DOES keep marriages together.
God knows everything there is to know about his wife, the Church, so likewise HE commands the man in marriage to live with his wife according to knowledge.
Why are people destroyed? “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:” (Hosea 4:6a). Marriages are destroyed because people are destroyed, and people are destroyed for lack of KNOWLEDGE…not LOVE!
The Most High’s Order for Marriage…A man finds a wife, and the wife follows him. He leads, and she supports the leader. He gives, and she receives.
It’s difficult for a wife to show reverence and respect to a husband who doesn’t GIVE her love based upon what he KNOWS about her.
