So often, all of us keep our fingers crossed that we will see bills passed to assist us with problems like Interest rates, construction costs, and prices of food or any equipment we need to purchase.
The problem, as I see it, is many in our congress or even in our State governments controlled by Republicans don’t help the average American working person or their families. We have one party today that works for the people.
The other party is playing games and lying to voters about what they will do if elected. However, EVER PERSON IN OUR NATION needs to know facts. Educated people know we have been on the road to Nazi fascism since Reagan was placed in office.
Many years ago, an honest man named Jimmy Carter was elected president of our nation, and he spent most of his time in office trying to correct what the Republican party had tried to destroy.
Richard Nixon was elected president and was in office from 1969 until he and his vice president resigned in 1974. Gerald Ford became the president to replace him, and Good old Gerald pardoned Nixon and Agnew for their crimes.
You may wish to view our history of crooks and criminals in our politics. Gerald Ford didn’t have a clue as to what needed to be done. At election time a peanut farmer named Jimmy Carter won the election in 1977.
He had created many great things in his state as governor, and by becoming president, he was working on the problems the Republican party left behind.
Two years into his administration, Iran’s assets were first frozen by President Carter in 1979, after revolutionaries overthrew the U.S.-allied Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi’s administration and took American hostages.
From that time on, President Carter used every source he had to get those hostiles home with the elections coming up in two years.
The Republican party, the wealthy, some escaped Nazis from Germany, and Corporations like the NRA made a deal with Iran so Reagan could win the election.
“Hold the hostages until after the election and help us place Ronald Reagan in office. Release the hostages when Reagan is sworn into office, and we will release all of your frozen assets and give you weapons.”
Since that time, the Republican party has not worked for the American families. As Reagan became a puppet to the wealthy and Corporations, he removed taxes on the rich by 43% and dropped the taxes on Corporations by 32%.
HE LOST 75% OF TAX REVENUE FROM THE RICH AND CORPORATIONS.
He never made it up, but he tried by taxing the working families eleven (11) times while he was still in office. He was the president who taxed all of your social security that you set aside as a saving for your older years.
That was not all he did, and you, as a voter, should take the time to learn about just how bad he was for a president. You should search and see what bills the Republican party has ever created since that time to help your family and give you a better life. Use Google and start searching.
Working families have been making up that difference ever since.
It was when Jimmy Carter, a Democrat, was in office, and one paycheck took care of an entire family of four.
Then, after all that Reagan did for the rich, all families needed more family members working to make ends meet.
REPUBLICANS DON’T WORK FOR US. THEY WORK FOR THE WEALTHY.
This is what Jimmy Carter said later:
“No matter who was with me, we watched the big grandfather clock by the door.” Time was running out, for it was Tuesday, January 20, 1981.
The scene was the Oval Office. In just hours this president would leave it for good, and a new leader, Ronald Reagan, would move in.
As the clock ticked the time away, Carter tried to resolve a crisis that had almost destroyed his presidency. He was close, very close, and as he said, “At stake were the lives of 52 precious human beings who had been imprisoned in Iran for 444 days–and almost 12 billion dollars of Iranian assets.”
Reagan was inaugurated, and that very same day, the hostages were released, and Iran’s assets were unfrozen.
