It was the day before my birthday –
I had not planned a thing
Joy came to my heart then I started reminiscing.
The memory of past times brought many joyful tears;
As I realized the joy of having lived my many years.
So many of my friends and loved ones have departed this life;
And the thoughts of them really made me think twice.
I am here to tell you just how awesome God is.
Everything in this universe is really all His.
God devised the perfect plan as we walk faithfully in His command;
He offers a great solution for the healing of the land:
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves,
and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;
then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
The Godly should rejoice in the LORD and find shelter in Him;
And all those who do what is right will praise God with them.
