‘SPRING~THE BLOOM OF NEW LIFE’

As we survived Winter’s cold, wet, frost, sleet, and snow, it was (is) a time of keeping warm, not only for our bodies but for our preparation for the next season…Spring.  What does Spring symbolize?  Spring is all about new beginnings and transformations; it is a season that symbolizes starting fresh and starting on months of ‘sunshine on a rainy day’ (remembering The Temptations song)!  Spring reawakens us and our surroundings/environment, bringing everything back to life.

This article brings me many intakes of poetic, and musical readings and sounds, and l want to state I am poetic and musical as a hobby and a necessity…especially now.  The following 13 quotes have a deep meaning of Life and I hope they will be helpful to you in this season.

“The man who has planted a garden feels that he has done something for the good of the world.” (Charles D. Wame)

“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.” (Audrey Hepburn)

“Happiness held is the Seed, happiness shared is the flower.” (John Harrigan)

“A life without love is like a year without spring.” (Octavian Paler)

“In a world of grief and pain, flowers bloom.”  (unknown)

“If you have a garden and a library, you have everything.” (Cicero)

“When one flower blooms, spring awakens everywhere.” (John O’Donohue)

“The only thing that could spoil a day was people.

People were always the limiters of happiness, except

for the very few that were as good as spring itself.” (Ernest Hemingway)

“Don’t wait for someone to bring you flowers,

plant your own garden and decorate your own soul.” (Luther Burback)

“Spring  is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush.” (Doug Larson)

“If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.” (Frances Burnett)

“When flowers bloom, so does hope.” (Lady Bird Johnson)

“Nature gives to every time and season some beauties of its own.” (Charles Dickens)

MY FAVORITE is by Gwendolyn Brooks:  “We don’t ask a flower any special reason for its existence, we just look at it and are able to accept it as being something different from ourselves.”

Remember, GOD is the Creator of all of us, all seasons; let’s Praise Him for the twigs, and thorns, as well as their counterparts of new petals, new growth for a new day and tomorrow!
