From the season of Thanksgiving, we rise with a shout.
We honored our Veterans for faithful service – no diggity (no doubt).
We have struggled through difficult times all year long;
Remembering that God is good and still on the throne.
He anxiously waits to hear from His sons and daughters
To give the praise that we should – knowing we ought to.
The year is rapidly ending, and Christmas is near,
To fill our hearts with more love and spirits of cheer.
I pray that thanks and giving fill your heart each day,
And the spirit of love embrace you in a special way.
